“Cheese garlic bread”,” Cheese pizza’s”, “Cheese rolls” and all mouth watering yummy food items made from cheese are actually very delicious. One cannot resist himself from eating when these food items are placed in front of them. Even a small kid will offer only a “Cheese pizza” just because the taste of cheese makes all the difference. Cheese along with butter is consumed in highest amount. Every single food item in small restaurants or even large hotels is served with cheese. Cheese is also used as a garnishing material sometimes. Have you ever given a thought how this cheese is manufactured, how the packaging is done? I guess the answer to the question is “NO”. Cheese Packaging needs a special type of material for packaging. Cheese packaging is not done with paper as cheese is milk made item. Some special polymer similar to plastic is used for cheese packaging. Grated, sliced, liquid all types of cheese are available. And all these require special packaging for it.

The manufacturers of processed cheese generally prefer to control the ripening of cheeses intended for processing in order to get the desired quality and quantity of the end product. Each and every lump of cheese is sampled and tested for important parameters such as acidity, fat, moisture, salt etc. Records of analysis shall be maintained properly till the processed cheese is marketed. Different age groups of cheeses are selected and brought together depending on the need and this process is called blending. Proper blending results in desired physical characteristics and uniformity of chemical composition in the end product. Generally people like to buy packages of cheese because they consume freshness and packaging remains its natural taste.
